Paul Monks
Paul Monks (CEO) joined Gorilla as a partner in 2003. Prior to that time he spent over 20 years working with organisations in the technology, consulting and communications fields in both Australia and New Zealand. Holding key roles with firms such as Price Waterhouse, Telecom NZ, Wang, CSI and Optimation. Clients Paul has worked with include many multinationals such as Air New Zealand and Vodafone, the small to medium enterprises of the local economy. Paul now plays a key role in helping Gorilla's clients with various aspects of 'the business of doing business' and in helping them establish a solid business strategy.
Paul Spain
Paul Spain (Founder, CTO) saw the business potential of graphical based computing during the 1980s. He soon learnt the Apple Mac and Microsoft Windows platforms and became recognised as one of NZ's first Windows experts in the 1990s. Paul spent a number of years in the area of providing technology services to meet the business goals of some of NZ's leading organisations. Working as a consultant and a technical manager, Paul acquired and managed clients including Microsoft, Saatchi & Saatchi, Ogilvy & Mather and TrustPower, before establishing Gorilla Technology in 1997. He now works closely with Gorilla's customers helping them leverage technology in order to achieve their goals more effectively.
